Inspired by the rural landscape of Isan, the cinematography of Sayombhu Mukdeeprom, summertime ball games and the blue of the sky.
Each piece in this collection merges artisanal and handmade fabrication from natural fibers and dyes with technical fabrics and details that are synonymous with contemporary daily life. Continuing his collaboration with the Indigo Grandmas, Philip Huang explores what Sakon Nakhon indigo can become. This season introducing Rose Quartz, a collaboration with Nong Bua Dang village in Chaiyaphum.
The sun beats down on the field as the ball is kicked, the glaring heat heightens perception. What follows is calm as the sun shifts and we meet again in the shade.
